The stud dogs at Autumn Hills Retrievers represent the pinnacle of pedigree, performance, and temperament. Each male in our program is trained, tested, and proven in the field before being offered for breeding. We only stand dogs that have passing OFA evaluations and complete genetic health testing, ensuring every pairing produces pups with exceptional ability, sound structure, and solid health. We do not hide or "not publish" OFAs or negative results. Our boys are bred to excel in competition, in the blind, and as loyal companions in the home.

About Chip:
Chip is the result of a carefully crafted pairing by Eric Lingler, bringing together two powerhouse retrievers with proven records both in the field and as producers. His sire, Wake, carried on the paw prints of his own sire, GRHRCH Magnolia’s Hammerin Hank MH MNH7, and has produced outstanding working dogs that excel in hunt tests, hunting, and the home.
We have high hopes that Chip will continue this exceptional lineage. While he is still young, his early development shows promise, drive, trainability, and the eagerness to work, which defines his bloodline. Starting in September 2025, we will begin collecting Chip for future breedings, ensuring his pedigree and talent are carried forward.

About River:
River is the perfect complement to his littermate Scarlet—if she’s “fire,” he’s “ice.” While Scarlet charges headfirst through any challenge, River evaluates the situation, formulates his plan, and executes with precision.
Though still young, River is already proving himself to be a thinking dog with a deep understanding of the task at hand. His marking ability is outstanding, and he demonstrates patience and composure well beyond his age. We’re excited to see how both River and Scarlet perform as they grow and enter the field trial world.
Mater is throwing large litters, many with dark "fox red" yellow puppies. His pups are intelligent, fast learners and tend to do as well in training/field as they do in the home. Mater is a firecracker in the field but has a definite off switch in the house.
